Marcus Junius Brutus
Roman senator and participant in the conspiracy that killed Gaius Julius Caesar. Brutus is one of the principal figures through whom the season examines the documented republican justification for the assassination. The surviving record does not establish a single private motive with certainty, so the film should distinguish public claims from later interpretation.
